Levias -coloring-

Another coloring job. This time, though, I put a lot more effort into it. Maybe because it was just the head...or maybe to win the contest...go figure. XD

Anyway, the name Levias reminded me of the great sea monster Leviathan, so naturally I chose an ocean-based color scheme. It came out much better than I had expected. I ended up coloring each of the little scales in, and I tested out some lighting/shading effects. Turns out that Overlay layers are much better than Multiply and Screen layers. Luckily, there were already areas where the lighting and shading was supposed to be lined out a bit--I'd never figure them out on my own. XD Oh yeah, I love that background, too. I looked at a tutorial, but it's nice, I may need to do an underwater scene with it.

I'm really happy with this, so critique is discouraged.
