An early birthday gift for my friend ~WinterWolf05. This is his fursona, Kumar, whom you may remember from Winter's Wolf. Well, my skills in wolves has progressed since then, and his color scheme changed anyway. :bucktooth:

I tried a new shading style with this, which is a great improvement over my previous style (while still being very similar). Too bad it takes ages to do. This drawing took about three weeks of on-and-off work to finish. But...it turned out pretty good. :]

That's awesome, I can see the improvement since your last picture =)
I like the glowy moon in the background, the shading, and just about everything in this pic. Considering it seems to be night though, Kumar should have darker shading I think, unless there's another light source. But whatever, It's awesome ^^ He has such big muscles and hands too lol.

Mismatched light sources are like a hallmark of mine. I generally ignore them for easier work. :slow:

Anyway, if you're referring to my last two wolf drawings, this was actually drawn before them. It just took a lot longer to finish. :bucktooth: I did spend a lot more time working on this, though, so it does look better.
